Three players from our ECNL 2011 Girls team have been invited to participate in a Bay FC Identification Event, bringing together some of the top young talent from across the country for evaluation by staff connected to the professional club.
Kallington, Avara, and Olivia were selected to attend the invitation-only event hosted by Bay FC, a professional club competing in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the top division in women’s soccer in the country. The identification sessions are designed to bring together elite youth players in a professional training environment while allowing club staff to evaluate and monitor players who may one day compete at the highest levels of the game.
Events like these play an important role in the professional pathway on the women’s side of the sport. By gathering standout players from across the nation, Bay FC is able to identify and track emerging talent for potential future opportunities within the NWSL and the professional game.
For Phoenix Rising FC, the invitations are another example of the club’s continued commitment to developing players capable of competing on the national stage. Being recognized by a professional organization at such a young age reflects the dedication, work ethic, and development of these players within the club environment.
Congratulations to Kallington, Avara, and Olivia on this well-earned opportunity. The entire Phoenix Rising FC community is proud to see our players continuing to gain recognition and exposure at the highest levels of the game.
