Are you ready for a more competitive soccer experience?
The Phoenix Rising All-Star Program offers recreational players a taste of club soccer!

What is the All-Star Program exactly?

  • A competitive program for recreational players seeking a higher level of play after the fall season.
  • An introduction to the PRFC Youth Soccer Competitive Program.
  • Key Difference: All-Star teams are formed by birth year, which may be different from your child’s recreational team, which are school grade teams.
  • Teams which are selected through tryouts run by our professional coaches. (Not every player who tries out will make a team.)

Who Can Try Out?

Boys and girls born in:

  • 2016 (Under-10s)
  • 2017 (Under-9s)
  • 2018 (Under-8s)
  • 2019 (Under-7s)

(Players born in 2020 can “play up” and try out for the 2019 team.)

The All-Star Experience:

  • Professional Coaching: Two practices per week with a professional trainer.
  • Competitive Games: 5-6 Saturday league games (Arizona Youth Academy League) from January-February 2026.
  • Tournament Play: One weekend tournament (3-4 games).
  • In-House Events: Opportunities to participate in local club events.
  • Cost: $399 per player (includes: league fees, tournaments, coaching, referees, administration).
  • Location: Home games at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale; away games throughout the Phoenix area.

All-Star Tryouts:

  • Date: Sunday, December 7th
  • Location: Cochise Elementary School (fields on south side of school)
  • Cost: FREE! (Registration is required)

Time:

  • Under-7s (2019): 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM
  • Under-8s (2018): 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM
  • Under-9s (2017) 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM
  • Under-10s (2016): 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in.

Players must pre-register (but we will accept registrations on the day). Sunday 7th December is the only tryout opportunity so don’t miss out!
