Phoenix Rising FC is proud to announce that our U15, U16, and U17 MLS NEXT teams have qualified for the 2025 MLS NEXT Flex tournament, taking place May 9–13 at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland.
This prestigious event brings together top-performing teams from across the country for a final opportunity to secure qualification to the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs, scheduled for June in Nashville. Teams are placed into four-team groups, with only the group winners earning a spot in the postseason—making every match in Maryland a high-stakes showdown.
Our U17 boys have been grouped against Queen City Mutiny (NC), Players Development Academy (NJ), and BW Gottschee (NY). Our U16 boys have been grouped against Charlotte FC (NC), Baltimore Armour (MD), and Austin FC (TX). Lastly, our U15 boys have been grouped against Atlanta United (GA), D.C. United (D.C), and SF Glens (CA).
Our players and staff are eager to compete on this national stage, knowing they’ll face some of the best youth talent in the country. This is a chance not only to advance to the playoffs but to showcase their development, hard work, and commitment to the Phoenix Rising standard.
We’re proud of our players for earning their spot and look forward to representing Arizona at one of the most competitive youth soccer events of the year.
