Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer is proud to recognize GK Siena Surdakowski, who recently returned from an impressive performance at the February U.S. U14 Youth National Team mini camp held in Southern California. Siena was one of three talented players from our 2011 group invited to this prestigious national-level event, joined by teammates Olivia Elison (Center Midfielder) and Addyson Coon (Fullback).
Notably, Siena’s journey to this remarkable achievement has been inspiring. After competing last season primarily as a center back, she made the bold transition to become a full-time goalkeeper. Remarkably, despite playing this challenging position for the first time, her fearless attitude and outstanding athletic ability have quickly propelled her onto the national stage.
Her coach recognizes her as an incredible, fearless, and athletic shot-stopper, praising her remarkable growth and adaptability.
Known for her exceptional shot-stopping skills and courage between the posts, Siena has swiftly established herself as an elite goalkeeper. Her continued growth and excellence at her new position have now earned her recognition from U.S. Soccer’s Youth National Team scouts.
Congratulations, Siena—we are excited to watch your continued development and proud to see you representing Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer on the national stage!
