We officially kicked off the 2026-27 season with a full weekend of events that brought together players, coaches, staff, and families from across our regions.
The weekend began with one of our Region Kickoff events designed to bring our teams together ahead of the new season.
A few weeks back, our U7-U12 teams gathered at Arizona Athletic Grounds for our Futsal Kickoff, welcoming teams from across our regions for a day centered around development, competition, and the fast-paced environment of futsal.
This past weekend, our U13 and older teams then came together at Bell 94 Sports Complex for the second Region Kickoff event. Each team played two games against teams from across our different regions, providing an opportunity to compete against new opponents while bringing our club together in one location.
One Club at Phoenix Rising FC Youth Night
The weekend continued at Phoenix Rising FC Stadium for our annual Youth Night, where nearly 1,000 Phoenix Rising youth players joined coaches, staff, and families to support our professional team.
The night was made even more special as we welcomed players, coaches, and members of our newest region in Yuma for a VIP experience, giving them the opportunity to connect with the larger Phoenix Rising family and experience a professional matchday together.
Youth Night continues to be one of the highlights of our calendar, showcasing the connection between our youth club and professional team while bringing our entire community together as one club.
Investing in Our Staff
The start of the new season also marked the kickoff of our Staff Performance Program, continuing our commitment to developing not only our players, but the coaches and staff who support them every day.
Staff participated in sessions focused on coaching development and professional growth, while all staff members also completed First Aid and CPR certification through AZ ACLS.
From our youngest players at Arizona Athletic Grounds to our older teams at Bell 94, our staff development initiatives, and nearly 1,000 youth players coming together at Phoenix Rising FC Stadium, the weekend represented what it means to be part of Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer.
The 2026-27 season is officially underway, and we look forward to another year of development, competition, and bringing our regions together as one Phoenix Rising family.
