Where will the team play?
Tampa Bay Sun FC will play in a beautiful, upgraded and expanded waterfront stadium on the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa that we will share with Howard W. Blake High School located at 1701 North Boulevard – Tampa, FL.
Is this the first women’s pro sports team ever in Tampa Bay?
This will be the highest level of women’s professional sports to ever play in Tampa Bay. There have been other women’s teams in Tampa Bay at other levels over the years, but we hope Tampa Bay Sun Football Club will show the world that Tampa Bay is a place that celebrates elite female athletes and creates more opportunities for success.
What is the USL Super League?
The USL Super League is a professional women’s soccer league set to kick off in August 2024. The USL Super League has committed to U.S. Soccer’s Division One standards, reflecting its collective vision to be a global leader in women’s soccer on and off the field while providing more opportunities for more women in more communities. The inaugural 2024 season will feature eight teams with additional teams set to join in subsequent seasons.

Season ticket deposits for our 2024 Inaugural Season are available NOW and can be secured here. Your deposit provides you with a priority number for seat selection. Final pricing and seat selection process will be released as we get closer to the 2024 season start.
Why will the USL Super League play on the globally prevalent “fall-to-summer” calendar?
The USL Super League will be the only American soccer league aligned with the global game’s traditional club calendar, running from August to June. This calendar prioritizes the fan experience, on-field competition, and commercial opportunities, ensuring players are easily able to represent both club and country, and facilitating USL Super League clubs’ participation in the emerging global women’s transfer market.
